From Creative Practice to Climate Justice Action
In the first week of July, in Greenwich, London, the symposium From Creative Practice to Climate Justice Action took place. The brainchild of Creative Producer Pippa Bailey, it was a workshop symposium bringing artists, cultural workers, academics, environmental activists, community members, funders, climate scientists and policy makers together. Our focus was on exploring the role of arts and culture in the Climate and Ecological Crisis, in order to enable climate action and transition, with social justice at the heart.
Over a week, and led with eagle eyed skill, Pippa brought different people together to mindfully build connection between embodied practices and systemic challenges within volatile contexts. To read more about this find it in my projects!
