Movement Director, Acting Coach, experienced in Intimacy support and Direction. I work Nationally and internationally in theatre, film/TV, commercials.

“I brought Gabrielle on board my short film BLOOD RITES to work with our three main cast to find the right physical language to portray their characters. For the film we needed the cast to show hints of animalistic behaviour as they developed and she was able to draw this out of them in a really powerful way. She achieved a huge amount with little time and in a high pressured environment. Gabrielle works in really exciting, unique and interactive ways and it was a such a fascinating and rewarding experience to work with her.” - HELENA COAN,

Shakespeare within the Abbey, dir. Claire Van Kampen, Shakespeare’s Globe 2019

movement director - gabrielle Moleta

Mark Rylance and Shakespeare’s Globe brought a company of 22 actors to Westminster Abbey for a unique event to celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday.

This unseated production invited audiences to roam the Abbey, where a beautiful and unexpected world unfolded in the sacred space.

Audiences experienced fleeting, contemplative and intimate encounters with Shakespeare’s drama, poetry, dance and song beneath the soaring ribs of the magnificent Westminster Abbey.

What had begun with a brawl ended with a reconciliation as the entire ensemble joined forces to sing [...]It made a unifying end to one of the most moving celebrations of Shakespeare I’ve experienced

STARVING DINGOES & The Ephemeral Life of an Octopus, choreographer Léa Tirabasso

animal transformation Coach - gabrielle Moleta

Starving Dingoes portrays the urgency to live, furiously and passionately. It is a race for five dancers who, through the body and its language, explore the vital necessity, albeit brutal, to stay together.
Facing us, a cohort of grandiose and obsessive beings, primitive and bestial like the music that supports them.” Tour dates from February in the UK. Click here for review

Based on the choreographer's personal experience of ovarian cancer, The Ephemeral Life of an Octopus the piece is inspired by studies of the evolution of cancer cells and the lived experience of illness. At once scientific, philosophical and visceral, the piece looks at the dysfunction, chaos and vibrant life force of the body from within and without. I worked as Animal Transformation Coach on the project working with the dancers to expand their physical language.

The Ephemeral life of an Octopus is one of the Twenty20 projects, selected by the Aerowaves partners.  It has been been presented in the UK, at The Place London as well as in numerous destinations in mainland Europe.

At once original in its statement, remarkable in its choreographic language and extremely well performed.

tiger Under the Skin, Tom Kelsey (WoLab)

movement direction - gabrielle Moeta

Tiger Under The Skin is a show about mental health.

It tells the story of a night out gone wrong, taking the audience on a hilarious and heartbreaking journey through the jungle of panic attacks, anxiety and poor mental health.

The show bounces between an absurd stream of consciousness, physical theatre, animal transformation work and uses a unique sound design.

The show was first performed at Bloomsbury Festival.

It is refreshing to see a play so honest about such an important subject...
