3 Days of R and D
A few days ago we went ahead with a short snatch of R&D at the wonderful Gulbenkian. Despite needing to work at distance a few of us were able to come together for 3 full days to explore the first steps of some new work in the theatre space. Having good woodland nearby also meant that we could take time to work at even greater distance. Working outside can give the actors a feel of different textures to fuel the imagination before returning to the rehearsal room. Unfortunately the lockdown has meant that we were unable to spend time with the bears at Wildwood Trust so observation was limited to video footage. Many of the animals at Wildwood are either extinct in the UK or are under threat. They are continually working to protect Britain’s most endangered wildlife and to reintroduce animals back into the British woodland. Lockdown means that Wildwood has lost 3 months of income, and, when opened, distancing has meant that visitor income is restricted. Do support them with a donation if you can.
